My journey with Chasen began with a reflection on identity. As a Chinese-Canadian adoptee, I was raised in a household where Chinese culture wasn't just something I observed - it was the foundation of my life. I grew up with the understanding that my connection to these traditions was a gift, and I am deeply grateful for the heritage that chose me.
